Congratulations to all Revolution BJJ students who competed at US Grappling Richmond!

Dax Estep took home 3 gold medals! Congrats also to Jeff Harris (30+ beginner gold and adult no-gi novice silver), Zebedee Williams (no-gi novice gold), Tyler Smith (white belt silver), Brian Maltby (gold in 30+ no-gi and 30+gi), and Marvin Johnson (2 silvers)!  Our thoughts continue to be with Parker Conner, who will have to take some time off due to an injury sustained in the finals of his no-gi division.

The open guard can be one of the most daunting subjects for an advanced jiu jitsu practitioner to face.  You’ll learn to dominate the grips and position before a guard is fully established, and to defeat several advanced types of guard all throughout the month of August.
